Samsung S5, Android 6.0.1, EgiGeoZone 2.5.8, using PathSense, sending to HS3 PHLocation plugin.
I have 2 phones using the exact same configuration, a Samsung S4 (Android 5.0.1) and S5 (Android 6.0.1). The S4 works flawlessly. The S5 most often than not fails. The log always shows that EgiGeoZone tried to connect, failed and says the request is queued. First, it is unclear why it cannot connect since cellular is always on; second, the queued message is never sent later.
Some forums have mentioned the battery saving features of Android 6 as the cause for EgiGeoZone not being able to send: this would be quite disturbing. Can anyone confirm this as an issue?
Any other thoughts or debug suggestions?
